Trish Gates

Tricia has been teaching golf for 30 years to students of all ages and abilities. She is a native to the Washington area, growing up in the Bethesda/Chevy Chase area. She grew up playing golf and tennis, swimming, and bowling at Columbia Country Club. She graduated from the University of South Carolina with a bachelor’s degree in Media Arts. She was a walk-on for the Division I golf team. In her Junior Year in college, she was selected for a scholarship to Hunter College in New York City.

After college, Trish worked as an Assistant Golf Professional over the past 25 years at a few local courses, one being River Bend Golf & Country Club in Great Falls, VA. It was during her time there that she received the Assistant of the Year Award for the Middle Atlantic Section of the PGA. She was an Assistant Golf Professional at Loudoun Golf & Country Club until she was hired as the Head Golf Professional at Stonewall Golf Club in Gainesville, VA.

She has been a Member of the PGA of America for over 25 years.
